We have been awarded a VisitEngland Rose Award 2024.
This VisitEngland award is given annually to just 100 quality-assessed accommodation businesses and is in recognition of hosts that go above and beyond in providing excellent customer service.
The ROSE Awards showcase the accommodation providers who give the warmest of welcomes and where the staff provide incredible experiences for their customers irrespective of star rating, style or type of accommodation.
“The ROSE Awards recognise the accommodation providers in England who deliver a fantastic welcome, provide outstanding customer service and make magical memories for their visitors. They create the bedrock on which tourists build their holiday memories, encouraging them to discover more of the area and driving tourism spend across local communities.
All Our lodges have also been individually awarded 4 and 5 star GOLD by Visit England
We are the only self catering accommodation in the county of Rutland to have achieved this.
Gold Rating
For exceptional quality of accommodation and customer service.
Four star properties can be awarded either a Silver or gold award, depending how close they are to achieving the five star rating.
In the five star category visit England have simply awarded golds to those with the highest scores overall.
National Awards
Stretton Lakes was awarded SILVER in the Self Catering Holiday of the Year Category at the
National Enjoy England Excellence Awards on 15th April 2011.
Regional Awards
Stretton Lakes was awarded GOLD in the 2010 Self Catering Category at the
Enjoy England Excellence Awards for the East Midlands region on 7th October 2010.
