GENERAL INFORMATION

Stretton Lakes will hereinafter be referred to as “We”. “You” refers to the customer making the booking and the members of their party.

A non refundable deposit of £30.00 will be required to confirm a booking.

All Payments are Non Refundable and Non Transferable. Touring Park bookings cannot be moved to a different date.

Stretton lakes strongly recommends that the client takes out insurance against cancellation.

• Contract:The Contract for a short-term touring holiday shall be made between the Guest and Stretton lakes. It will be entered into when the deposit is taken. By making a reservation you are deemed to have accepted our Terms and Conditions. The Contract will be subject to the following booking conditions. Stretton Lakes reserve the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time. We also reserve the right to terminate the agreement/booking without refund of money if the behaviour of any guest is considered unacceptable, site rules are broken or if the number of occupants exceeds that stated at the time of booking.
• At the time of booking, full contact details and a deposit will be required, to secure your pitch. By booking, you give Stretton Lakes permission for your contact details to be held on our data base.
• If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, we will deem that you have read and accepted our terms & conditions.

Stretton Lakes is strictly an adult only site for over 18’s. (Proof of age may be requested, failure will result in removal from the site). This also includes all day guests.

Holiday Bookings:

• The non-refundable balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival, payments can be made by cheque, credit/ debit card over the phone or online at time of booking. If the balance has not been received, we reserve the right to re-let your pitch
• Sorry, we cannot carry forward any payments made, if the holiday is cancelled for ANY reason. We highly recommend you take out your own travel insurance.
• All payments are non refundable and non transferable (if you need to leave for any reason including bad weather after you have checked in we cannot refund payments for the remaining nights of your stay)
• We allow cash payments for last minute arrivals.
• We allow one car per pitch.
• The name provided throughout the booking will be solely responsible for the behaviour of your party and for any breakages or damages caused during your stay.
• Pitches must not exceed the number of people agreed at time of booking.
• When specific pitches or special requests are asked for we will do our utmost to site you as requested. However, specific pitches cannot be guaranteed and we reserve the right to allocate a pitch at our discretion.
• Please be considerate of other campers and keep noise to a minimum. We do request absolute quiet after 11:00 pm (23:00). (Failure could result in removal from site)
• Place all litter/rubbish in the bins provided; please help us with our recycling by separating your waste.
• Open fires are strictly banned and not permitted anywhere on site. BBQ’s must be raised off the grass.
• We do not accept sign written vans or commercial vehicles.

Arrivals and Departures:

• All arrivals must check in at reception, or follow instructions if reception is closed.
  • Arrival time for pitches is from 1:00 pm (13:00).
  • Departure day pitches must be vacant by 12.00.
  • We do not allow anyone to pitch after 9:00 pm (21:00) unless by prior arrangement.

Dog Friendly: 

• We are an extremely dog friendly park, with on-site walks around the fishing lakes and the adjacent George Henry Wood.We also have many miles of public footpaths leading from Stretton Lakes to explore Stretton Wood, the local villages and surrounding areas.
• Dogs must be always kept on a lead while on site.
• We ask that you clean up immediately after your dog so we can maintain the high standard of cleanliness of our site grounds, failing to do so will result in being asked to leave the park, without refund.
• Maximum of 3 dogs per pitch. (No Charge) However, as we are a quiet & peaceful park, if you are unable to control your dog from continuously barking, then Stretton Lakes, probably isn’t the park for you and we may have to ask you to leave without refund
• Dogs must be kept on leads in all public areas.
• Dogs are not allowed in the shower and toilet blocks.
• Hooks are provided outside shower block.
• Dogs should not be left unattended at any time.
• Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times (even on your pitch) Please do not leave your dog unattended particularly in your car in hot weather. This can cause considerable distress to your dog and disturb guests on our site.
• Dog washing point provided.

Day guests are welcome: 

• But cars must be parked and left in the touring reception
• Day guests must leave the site before dusk.
• Any guests visiting the site in conjunction with a booking must also be aware of the terms & conditions of that booking.
• Visitors are welcome between 9am and 9pm, there is a small charge for all visitors who wish to fish as per our day rate. Please ask them to park and register with reception before entering the Touring site.

General information:

• We do not accept bookings from large groups (4 units maximum)
• Reception is open daily between 11am and 4pm, Reduced hours in the winter months. Varying hours depending on day and time of the year.

• Pitch Requests: We allocate all our pitches and do our best to pitch you on your requested pitch or with family or friends, however this is not a guarantee and there may be occasions where due to unforeseen circumstances and at busy times we are not always able to meet your request.

• Pitches must not exceed the number of people agreed at time of booking.
• All pitches are a minimum of 2 nights at weekends, between April and November unless we can fit you in, please phone on the day.

• Minimum nights: We reserve the right to not accept bookings of 1 night over weekends, and we ask for a minimum of 3 nights between 1^stJuly – mid September.
• Children: Sorry, we are an adult only park. We don’t allow anyone under the age of 18, as a guest or a visitor, anyone under the age of 18 will not be able to stay and there will be no refund.
• We allow gazebos and dog tents, but do not allow toilet tents or pup tents.
• Awnings/Groundsheets/Storage Tents: Are welcome: if an awning is required with a ground sheet it MUST be a BREATHABLE type. Storage tents are only chargeable if on grass pitches, as they don’t have breathable groundsheets and they can damage the grass. Rock Pegs required on hardstanding pitches.

• Please be considerate of other campers and keep noise to a minimum. We do request absolute quiet after 11:00 pm (23:00). (Failure could result in removal from site)
• We will not tolerate any persistent noise or nuisance or unruly behaviour and will ask anyone behaving in an unacceptable manner to leave without a refund.
• Place all litter/rubbish in the bins provided; please help us with our recycling by separating your waste.

• Fire & Barbeques: No fires or fire pits are allowed on this site. Disposable Barbeques are welcomed, if raised off the floor with bricks provided (located at the service points, PLEASE RETURN AFTER USE) once cold please dispose of in the metal ash bin. Standard and gas bbq’s are fine if used with care.

• The use of chinese lanterns are strictly prohibited.

• Electric Cars:Are not to be charged from your hook-up post onsite, we will have to impose a charge if found doing so.

• WI-FI Access:Wifi is available in and around the reception building.  Park wide will arrive in due course.

Our booking fee DOES NOT include holiday insurance. We therefore recommend that you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance to cover you in the event that you have to cancel or terminate your holiday unexpectedly.

We reserve the right to terminate the agreement/booking without refund of money if the behaviour of any guest is considered unacceptable, or if the number of occupants exceeds that stated at the time of booking.
